Hayes Premium House Coal 1 Tonne Pallet

This product is only available  for collection from our premises in Derrynoose Co Armagh.  Please see the list of APPROVED LOW SMOKE PRODUCTS  that we do ship by courier.  We have many low smoke Approved  alternative / comparable products which will give similar heat value  and in most cases lasts longer that this particular House Coal product .  Our recommendation  as an alternative to this product for customers with Closed Glass appliances or stoves is a product called Surelite.  This will give a higher heat output as House Coal, last longer in your appliance, producing less ash,  will cost you, the customer less and  is approved by all Councils and Authorities in ROI.

  For customers with an OPEN FIRE, our recommendation is either Magiglo which gives a higher heat output,  lasts longer, less ash content and is a lower price point, OR  another  lower price point product is Cosylite which will give higher heat output,  produces a similar dancing flame as House Coal, lasts a similar length of burn time, has a lower ash content and a lower price point.  Both of these products are available along with our other Low Smoke products in our Approved Solid Fuels section on our website.

House Coal is a fantasic value ranged coal which gives a reasonably good heat output and lowish ash content. House Coal is a blend of the best UK mined coals and coals from some less well known coal producing countries. It is a great all-rounder producing a resonably good heat and burn time.  This Coal is known by both our staff and our customers as the "Ford Mondeo " of Coal........it won't excite you but it will get you there and do its job !  This is a very strong selling coal product for us and we have a significant number of customers who return week after week, season after season to buy more of this House Coal which they think is good coal and great value. Please be aware that we have various grades of Coal, Colombian being the hottest, followed by Polish, followed by House Coal.   This is our entry priced point product, which is surpassed in heat by other products, and the price differential is reflected in the heat and ash content.   Basically you always get what you are prepared to pay for.

We like to do a mix and match pallet for our customers where we build a range of different type products onto a pallet to allow the customer to discover which coal is their preference.  Our customers are then much better informed and able to make a decision,  the next time that they wish to pruchase from us.

This one ton pallet is build with 50 x 20kg bags and is wrapped and ready for dispatch with our couriers, who ship normally on a 24 - 48 hour basis all around the country.  We cover the full 32 Counties of the Island with our delivery service and have a full scanned bar coded track and trace facility on deliveries.  We have a very good relationship with Couriers who provide a first class service to us, thus delighting our customers.  More importantly, if there is a delay for any unforseen circumstance, they are very quick to resolve the situation for us and they keep the customer informed of the whereabouts of the pallet while it is in transit.
